I think I have grown up

Morning

I got up as soon as mom called out my name,
She expected a frown, I gave a smile instead
I didn’t panic and packed my bag
Stepped out of my place without leaving behind my wallet or Cell phone
I think I have grown up

Afternoon
I took the metro
I didn’t jump, I didn’t panic
To my surprise, I didn’t lose my metro card
Not just that, despite my lift-phobia,
I made it a point to go by lift and not stairs
I think I have grown up

Evening
I laughed, I cried, I fumbled, I lied
The whole day I kept struggling with things
I dint crib and I dint stop
When I reached home, I was tired and I slept
Later I realized that in the hustle bustle
I Forgot to Miss you!
I think I have grown up
